The Academic Games Application
This program is intended for use in the academic games system: including competitions in onsets, equations, linguistics, and any other academic games I may not be aware of at the moment. The features are as follows:
- Support for any number of players, from as few as, say 20, to as many as you like.
- A randomization feature that ensures completely randomized table arrangements - no bias.
- Adhesion to rules of seating. For example, no person is seated with anyone from their school, and no person is seated with the same person in any of the rounds.
- Future updates might include support for variable number of rounds, more detailed input, and specialized output instead of the default columns and rows approach.
DOWNLOAD
Instructions for running the application:
- Open up the command prompt in windows (or go to "run" in the start menu, type CMD, and press enter)
- Type "chdir " then the name of directory where you downloaded academic_games.jar to into the command prompt, press enter.
- Type "java -jar academic_games.jar" into the command prompt, press enter.
- Follow the instructions inside the application.
- If, for some reason, this does not work, a new version (.exe) of the program will be available soon hopefully.
